Howdy! My name is Kristen and I live in Oklahoma City, OK with my husband, Chris, 2 Siberian Huskies, Nikkita and Boris, and spaz-cat, Roary. I graduated from Missouri State University in 2010 with my Bachelor of Social Work. I'm originally from Ft. Worth, TX and take great pride in my southern roots!
I come from a very artistic family; my mom's a music teacher and piano player, my brother plays the guitar and is a graphic designer, and my dad plays guitar, harmonica, and got me hooked on classic rock at an early age. I...sing. And play SOME piano and guitar. But music in all forms is my favorite; listening to it, playing it, musical theatre, live shows; I love it all! I also enjoy natural-light photography and anything outdoors.
Ever since we moved to OKC, I've had the opportunity to enjoy the things I love more. Before, I never had time to cook, which is another one of my very favorite things, but now I cook every night. I made a New Year's resolution to try a new recipe once a week and have discovered a lot of great ones that my husband just loves. I want to share these with others along with the music I'm obsessing over.
